Dr. Edward F. DeRoche is a professor in the School of Education at the University of San Diego. His extensive experience in education ranges from elementary school teacher to university instructor and dean. Dr. DeRoche is the author of numerous books including The Newspaper: A Reference Book for Teachers and Librarians, Evaluating School Programs and Personnel, and Educating Hearts and Minds: A Comprehensive Character Education Framework. He is the author of a bimonthly column for The Newspaper in Education Information Services newsletter and his articles on education have been featured in newspapers around the country.
